Prerequisites
Requirements Checklist
- Active Shopify subscription
- Active Shopify store
- Admin access to your Shopify account
- Chatterswift Growth plan or above
- WhatsApp Business API number
Installing the Chatterswift Shopify App
Select Your Store
Ensure your store is selected in the top-right dropdown. If you manage multiple stores, select the correct one.
Install Chatterswift App
- From Shopify sidebar, click "Apps"
- Search for "Chatterswift" in Shopify App Store
- Click "Add app" and approve permissions https://apps.shopify.com/live-chatterswift
Connecting Your Accounts
Open Chatterswift App in Shopify
After installation, click "Chatterswift" under installed apps in your Shopify admin.
Connect Existing Account
Click "Connect Existing Account" to link the Shopify app with your Chatterswift account.
Enter your Chatterswift API key
- Log in to your ChatterSwift account and navigate to Dashboard → Connect
- Generate an API key if one does not already exist, or copy your existing API key
- Open the ChatterSwift app in your Shopify admin panel and paste the API key
- Click Connect to complete the integration
Using Chatterswift Shopify Features
Abandoned Checkout Recovery
Recover lost sales by automatically reminding customers about abandoned carts.
- In Chatterswift, go to Platforms page
- Scroll to App Integrations, click "Manage Settings"
- Toggle "Abandoned Checkout Notification"
- Create a template message and set reminder intervals
- Click "Save Settings"
Order Notifications
Customers receive automated order confirmations and updates via WhatsApp.
To test order flow:
- Add products to cart in your whatsapp cart
- Place a test order
- You'll receive checkout template on WhatsApp
- Click "Pay" button to go to checkout page
- Use test payment details (card number "1")
- Receive confirmation template after payment
